Welcome to Hampden!

In a city known for distinctive neighborhoods, Hampden feels like a small town, with modest homes that retain their original charm and locals that still use that Baltimore term of endearment - - Hon (as in " How ya doin', Hon?")

We printed 30,000 brochures last time. Meet our March 31st deadline or wait a full year for your next opportunity. Membership also includes having your business information listed on our web site that was visited by over 20,000 unique users last year!

Join today and reap the fabulous benefits of exclusive membership in the Hampden Village Merchants Association and Hampden Village Mainstreet.

Hampden hosts many events throughout the year, including First Fridays, Hon Fest, Hollywood in Hampden, HampdenFest, Halloween in Hampden, Miracle on 34th Street, The Mayor's Christmas Parade, and much, much, more!

Hampden also stars as one of only seven Baltimore "Main Streets" - - a program created by the National Trust for Historic Preservation to develop and improve urban business districts and shopping areas.

Ten minutes by car, bus or light rail from downtown Baltimore, Hampden is also convenient to suburban areas via I-83 and major arteries, such as Northern Parkway, Cold Spring Lane, Charles Street and Falls Road.

And many other attractions are just around the corner: the Baltimore Museum of Art / Walters Art Museum, Baltimore Zoo, and many colleges and universities, including College of Notre Dame, Johns Hopkins University, Loyola College, Maryland Institute College of Art, Morgan State University, and University of Baltimore.

Whether you join us to shop or eat; use our professional services; or enjoy one of our annual events, we hope we'll see you soon.
